    I need proof of my daughter's signature on my Kohl's account. I have requested to see that signature. They are holding her responsible for payment on my account. They are stating that she signed with me on this card and that is totally false.   • Customer service really stinks



    I have had a Kohls Charge card for years, recently(past 9 months) I moved to an online banking solution where my bills are dispersed automatically. This is the starting point of this problem. I recently noticed that since June I have been charged ~335.00 in late fees for my Kohls charge account.     I shop at Kohl's frequently. I took some merchandise back today with my receipt,and that went ok.     I placed an order yesterday. Today I received an email informing me there is a 20% discount available on web orders through today. I tried to contact customer service but could not get through; discovered that Kohls web orders have a 1 hour cancellation period.     Their kiosk that allows a customer to order & ship to store is in full view of other customers, and the screen is large enough to be seen by others (at least 18%u201D x 18%u201D). Anyone with a cell phone camera can stand near this kiosk and take pictures of your full name, address and credit card, enlarge the pictures, and with all this information can then steal your identity and potentially ruin your life.     Customers do not like to shop at Kohls for several reasons - Stores are overstocked in that it is difficult to get around the racks and to look at items stuffed in the racks.     Kolhs' runs a scam periodically on their website called Kolhs cash in which they claim you get $10 for every $50 spent. In calculating this amount, they state that the only time that does not count is sales tax. They do not exclude shipping charges.     I purchased an item that qualified for a $15 rebate. I have been checking the status of the rebate and it said it was mailed January 15 and to wait 21 days. It's been 27 and there is no rebate. I have also received another 10 dollar rebate for another product that was only mailed 7 days ago. They have no way of reporting a missing rebate.     Ordered some items for my daughter 16 Dec, they were NOT shipped until 8 Jan, BUT then the pkg was returned to them the next day by delivery service, so they shipped it again, same thing it got returned to them by delivery service.     We all know that Adam, store manager, is having an inappropriate relationship with a sales associate named Jessie. They are seen together constantly and she brags about how they spend time together, including her spending the night over at his house (including sexual innuendos) .     Kohl's won't let you use your extra 20% off for kohls bucks. This is bad business, totally unfair. I would never have bought anything from them had I known this is the way they do business. Also, I returned the item and most of the items I purchased with the Kohls Cash.     When a small payment (under 50 dollars) was missed because of falling for the "save the tree" scam,, I contacted Kohl's immediatly, paid the bill and the representatlve cheerfully removed late fees and interest charges.     On November 15th, my mother made a big purchase online (over $150) and used her Khols Charge Card to purchase the order. We never got the package, i'm assuming because UPS delivered it to the wrong address.     I ordered a bookshelf and step-stool on November 28th. The stool was delivered right away, but the bookshelf was not. I called customer service to ask if they had an estimate for when the bookshelf might be delivered.     What Kohl's has done is by increased merchandise in 40% to give out coupons and Kohl's cash to customers who purchase over a certain amount (ex. $50). When they mail-out coupons, they use the same coupon number to limit customer discounts. You cannot use two coupons at once.     In the last month I have had to use the customer service line in the back of the Yorba Linda, Ca store. The service desk has only 2 registers averaging a 10-15 minute wait period for every 2 people. Wait is too long for simple returns, exchanges, and purchases.     Kohl's is marking up merchandise higher than even suggested price and then selling with a "Discount". Picked up a pack of mens T shirts that had a suggested price of $16 that had been remarked for $24. Asked the clerk about the change and was told he didn't have the answer but it scanned for $24.00.     Thank you Kohl's store#198 in Bangor Maine. I purchased Bissell steam cleaner in your store in 09. After using it about two dozen time it failed to dispense liquid. I looked on-line for a fix. I want to praise a cashier at the Naples,FL Kohls on 4-26-13 at 10:59 a.m. named Leaha I believe. I probably misspelled her name. She's tall and blonde. I applied for a credit card at Kohls and it turned out to be a nightmare!! I went to pay for my purchase when I used the credit line I received and they tell me they only receive payment by cash or check, who carries cash or checks no a days!! I called their customer service and asked them what the status of my card was, I had not received it. They confirmed that my card was mailed to an address I had lived over ten years ago. They explained to me that if I couldn't verify the address, which I couldn't remember that they would close my account when I had asked them to cancel the card and issue me a new one. They refused until I could verify the address from ten years ago. Now they want me to re-apply at a store and have them run my credit again! Too much of a hassle to shop at a store with overpriced merchandise anyway!

I am more than disappointed with the level of professionalism when I had to call the Corporate refund toll free #. The CS rep, Katy, was inpatient, rude and continued to cut me off numerous times when I merely answered her many questions. I will NEVER shop Kohl's store again. The return policy is all wrong and doesn't work as described by Kohl's. I plan on writing Corporate, but I highly doubt that will do any good.

Yesterday I shopped with my son at Kolhl's in Severna Park, MD. I spent over $200-paid for by $50 on a Visa gift debit card, the rest on my Kohl's charge. Today I returned $149 worth of merchandise to the same store. They asked me for the gift card to credit the refund back, but I no longer had it since I had used the full amount on the gift card. Ok, says the sales person- she will give me a store credit. A store credit for $50, and the rest on my Kohl's charge? That would be fine. No, the entire amount would be refunded as a store credit. What??!! That makes absolutely no sense whatsover. If I had returned all of the merchandise that I purchased the day before, then I would expect that $50 would be refunded in store credit, and the rest credited to my Kohl's charge. No, that's not the way the computer is set up. The refund has to be paid back the same way the customer paid. Since I no longer had the gift card, I was out of luck. I was not asking for a credit on my Kohl's card for more than what I had charged on it. Even with my refund, I still had spent over $50 (the amount of the gift card). The outcome of this episode is that I will receive a corporate refund check for $149 (God-willing) and will no longer shop at Kohl's as my first choice for just about everything. Very, very disappointed in this policy. I asked several sales people to explain the reasoning behind the policy. No one was able to explain the reason. I can only conclude that it is a sneaky way to force customers to spend refunded money at Kohls rather than some other store, or wait 2 wks for a refund while Kohl's collects the interest on someone else's money. They kept the money (for 2 weeks) and lost a customer. Bad business practice.

I had purchase some clothes from khols, and the material of the clothes were very cheap. My clothes tore within a week,i was really disappointing. I went back to the store and told them my situation, the workers were very understandable. The environment is peaceful, and gave me my back my money. I would definitely go back to Khols, but probably wont buy there clothing again.

I purchased a Home Classics Quilted Bedspread called Fall Garden Queen size @$199.99 #99phc120Ao7c1203 411 80 87. I put it on my bed and started noticing bites on my body. Had a exterminator check it out and they cannot determine the type of bug. Then I checked and it was made in China. I took it back to the store for a refund and would only give me an exchange, I had the bug taped to the bag! I didn't want another spread as now I don't trust getting more bugs after multi sprays still can't get rid of them. I just had back surgery and am in enough pain without all these bites too! I am very unhappy and discurraged at this point. I would like to know if you can resolve this in any other manner as it is getting quite expensive and painful. Will appreciate hearing from you. im very uhappy with kohl,s when u pick out a race of people for a buy one get one free. WHAT is that about the rest of the people who shop in your store are not good enough. I was forgot one payment to Kohls...I discovered it myself and immediately paid it off. Mt credut monitoring service alerted me to a change in credit rating. It was Kohls...I appealed to them but they would not relent for this SINGLE late payment Kohls. I had no other late payments. AVOID using Kohls credit carde unless you want to get hurt.

At least here I can post without the hassle of wasting my time as I did on Kohl's site--the message never went through.

Disappointed.
1) Their web site doesn't accept complaints (see above).
2) Their store is ok, but people are too busy. I couldn't find any one to ask a question since I couldn't find what I was looking for. Lower prices aren't worth it if it's a hassle.

I recently shopped Kohl's "online". I have mobile disability. I purchased a large area rug and when received, the rug is much darker than Kohl's online image. So, it needed to be returned and that I could not physically take it in nor did I feel I should pay for the return shipping cost. Called Kohl's and was told by two separate employees, one being a "supervisor" that Kohl's will "pick up the rug UPS". They never did. If you're disabled, do not purchase from Kohl's online.

Don't ever forget your password for your myKohls Charge account because the reset button does not work. I've been reporting the issue since July 2009 and I keep getting the same answer, wait 24 hours, clean out your spam box, unblock kohls.. blah blah blah. Why advertise convenience for customers by paying online if parts of your feature does not work? I wish the customer reps would quit reading the script and report the issue to the IT department and fix the issue. Maybe Kohls should use all the late fees they've collected from me to get an IT department if they don't have one.

I'm willing to say that maybe my yahoo account just doesn't like kohls and does not want me to pay my bills on time. Maybe that's the answer.

Anyone else ever try to reset their password and never got their reset email?

I used my Kohl's charge card for the first time in a couple of years at the end of September. I did not receive a billing statement until the first week in November. There was a $20 late charge on the statement. I called Customer Service, and was told I should have paid the bill at the store or online BEFORE I received a statement. If I am going to pay the bill in the store, why use a charge card? This is a very poor way to do business. I have cancelled my Kohl's charge account and destroyed the card. I won't be shopping at Kohl's again.

Although the store was very slow, no one asked if help was needed. Employees, including the manager continued to walk past me as I stood for several minutes in one spot trying to get someone’s attention.

I was sent to customer service where Laya told the desk #1241 didn’t have what we were looking for and walked away before I could reiterate we wanted her to check other Kohls locations for stock so I could pick items up. I did not wish to utilize Kohls.com and wait 4 days for delivery if a Kohls 15 minutes apart from one another could have it ready today.

When Laya was contacted again, she interrupted me in midsentence as I tried to explain customer service said she’d check other Kohls locations for stock, pointing her finger at the ground stating to me: THIS IS ALL WE HAVE…DO YOU SEE?” I told her I did, finished my sentence, and she walked away mumbling leaving me to assume that I should follow her back to customer service desk.

For several minutes I stood outside the customer service desk, not even knowing if Laya was making the call or just left. One employee after another walked by me as I stood in the isle, yet not one asked if I was being helped.

Nicole, the manager was walking by me, and I had to stop her to ask if she’d help determine if Laya was even working on my request. As I informed her of Laya’s rude comment, I stated that I didn’t think I wished to patronize such discourteous behavior however thought as the manager of Kohls she should know.

Nicole’s responses were to check Kohls.com but “YOU CAN LEAVE IF YOU WANT TO.” Only when I reiterated how offended I felt, did Nicole state (while walking away from me) that she’d speak to Laya.

Family works in Kohls area where I trust this letter is being sent. We also have a strong affiliation with The Children’s Hospital in Colorado. I have worked for companies a great deal larger than Kohls and even they come and go. While I harbor no ill feelings for this horrible experience in service by not only a clerk, but the manager also, I can assure you such arrogance will only eventually expedite the same demise for your company.

Expect great things? I did choose to leave, went next door to an attached Target, purchased the same thing we’d been trying to piece together for 6 months at 3 Kohls in less than 5 minutes. Stocked, same price, courteous employees. All I expect is a response, and at minimum a verbal warning & training in customer service for both your choices in management and clerks.

I worked for Kohls twice. In New Jersey and in Vermont. I worked in the customer service department and I worked hard. I left after I was needed more at home. I left on good terms and when the economy fell I returned to Kohls in the State of Vermont. My second experience was quite the opposite of the first. They lied to me. Never gave me the job I was told I had to wait a few weeks to one month for. They played headgames and they switched me to days I couldn't work, and gave notice of dr. appt. I had a torn ligament and still came to work and was on my feet all day. They new I was allergic to something in the store which I had a violent reaction to. I became ill, and I had voiced what it was to 3 supervisors. Now later on looking back, I reported that I had been hired for one position, and never given it . I simply couldn't do the work, after my reaction, and then the games started from one week to the next it was lies. They put me on days I had dr. Appts scheduled, denied me calling up because I live an hour from the store, I called up to report a mistake in the schedule. I came in to request meetings about this mishap and was never granted it. I had been given less days of work, and then... I found another job and filled out a form for schedule change and they said they never received it. IT was a joke. The whole of it is, I am too old and wise a person for Retail drama. I also realized poor management, and bad company policy makes for a poor report. They are going to be one of those companies that no one will shop in sooner or later. I also am closing my Kohls charge. I paid it off and they put on finance charges when I paid off my 2,000.00 in 1 month from spending it, and they finance charged me! Then... again, Wouldn't you if you could?

Company policy is that before your 90 day probation period is up, you are allowed 5 call offs/tardies. After your 90 days you are given 15 call offs/tardies a year on a rolling year period. So like if you called off on May 2, it wouldn't fall off until May 2 of the next year. That's pretty much how that works. They even write you up when you have doctors notes. However, from my understanding it is Federal law that with a doctors note an employer cannot fire you, and last time I checked they Federal governments laws came before some store policy. If you can, sue the **** out of them!!

I placed an order 1/25/09 for a car seat. This is the 13 th of Feb and it has not been delivered to this date. Upon checking it says it was shiped the 26 of Jan. Just want to know where my order is and if it is going to be delivered at all. You have already charged my kohls card thye amount. The order # is 463303125. thanks

i would request the policy rules for calling off. You had a doctors excuse and it is illegal to terminate someone when they have a doctors excuse and are told by doctors orders to stay at home.

I am disappointed with Kohls. I have worked at Kohls for approximately several months. In these months treatment of their employees has something to be desired. I had gotten sick and was put in hospital for a couple of days and under doctors orders was to have complete bed rest upon return home for several days. Kohls was given a doctors excuse and a date that I was to return to work. My supervisor got extremely upset and told me that I would have to get written up for this, that it was company policy. She was was beligerant and I was told that I upset the schedule and that they no longer needed my services. No I find this alittle unreasonable. First of all I considered myself a good worker and did what I was told. I could not help that I was admitted to the hospital, but find it absurd that a write up was necessary. The management that is hired for Kohls has no business being supervisors and what they say about the management staff is definitely true. I was let go two weeks before Christmas and its a shame when the almighty dollar comes before its employees. I feel that the CEO of Kohls needs to know how employees are being treated and why the overturn of employess that come through there. What happen to fairness and treatment of employees.
