Rude and smug manager

My boyfriend gave me an expensive pair of earrings for Valentine's Day that wasn't my taste, he gave me the receipt so I could pick out some other jewelry. They didn't honor the amount to exchange because there had been Kohl's cash received from the transaction. I was only asking for an exchange and they wouldn't honor the amount he paid. The manager was very rude and smug. I won't be taking my business there again! I have shopped there for many years and spent a lot of money there, NO MORE! Good riddance!
